This past month I’ve spent my end of the winter up in Whistler, BC with People films. A bunch of the People crew headed up to Canada as well to finish off the year and we all decided to rent some apartments in Pemberton at the Pemberton Gateway Suites just 20 miles from Whistler and close to some sick backcountry spots. Its been a tough winter forsure with all types of crazy conditions and tricky weather but we all got some sick shots and I was stoked to crew up with Rusty Ockenden & Lonnie Kauk who know all the backcountry spots super well. Those guys killed it forsure and I’m really looking forward to checking out the rest of there shots in the new PEOPLE films movie coming out in September. I had a great time filming with Pierre Minhondo and the rest of the People crew up here in pricey Canada but think its bout time to head back to Mammoth Lakes and enjoy some spring time shredding and a mission to SD for some waves. Last winter we got dumped on at the Jersey Shore. We received 30+ inches of snow up and down the coast so we headed to the slums of Seaside Heights, NJ for a little jump session in Snooki territory. Luckily no fist pumping Guido’s got in the way during this session.

Here’s some photos of my first film trip of the year with the PEOPLE crew in Alberg, Austria. This is my first trip filming in Austria and conditions have been amazing and the scenery is insane. ENJOY!

Local logistics crew Pat Lee, Spencer Cordovano, Jeremy Black and Yancy Caldwell keep the PI compound running smoothly. When they’re not fixing broken cats, filling sleds with fuel and raking the in-runs they’re riding harder than most the visiting pros.

Snowboarders Josh Dirksen, Mike Basich, Spencer Cordovano, Pat Lee and Cory Smith tour into the Williams yurt to ride some isolated Idaho powder.

A legend rolls through. Bjorn Leines rolls out form Salt Lake to see for himself just how much fun is being had in Idaho. Yurt camping missions and three feet of fresh add to the fun.

Good hips are rare, that´s why Head Snowboards teamed up with HO5 and built a good sized hip in Flaine, France. Shayne Pospisil, Fredrik Evensen and Christophe Schmidt had some good days shredding this monster.
